The verdict from the Court of Appeal states that the priest has good enough qualifications to fill the position of minister, contrary to the Court’s opinion. This gives Zevede stay in the country. The judgment also means that the decisions of the Immigration Appeals Board (UNE) and the judgment of the Oslo City Court is not approved.

Religious education. Eldhuset the support of the High Court. The judgment states the priest:
“Although he lacks a formal master as we know it in western education, he has by the Court of Appeal’s overall assessment a religious education and insight into his church teachings and rituals that can not be said to be behind the level of knowledge a Norwegian presteutdannning and terms the Norwegian church. “
In the Court of Appeal argued Eldhuset among other things, that the church is satisfied with Zevede.
- The church, which has sought the priest, got what they wanted. They are very pleased with him. Then it is strange that we should have a system of immigration that invalidates countrymen assessment of the candidate.
Engaged. Bjorg Tysdalsvatnet Moe, deputy mayor of Stavanger for the Christian Democratic Party, said she was very happy when she heard that Zevede will be.
She has taken up the cause and has cordial ties to the Ethiopian Orthodox church in Stavanger.

KrF-shoulder stresses that she is making demands of the religious leaders who come to the country, but they must be reasonable.

- No. They must be able to document their education and experience, says deputy mayor and points out that the church pays the Ethiopian Orthodox priest.
The Court of Appeal has decided that Zevede cover their costs.
It did not succeed Our Country to get in touch with UNE or Zevede, currently located in Ethiopia.
